1. Online Beta Conversion
Try Online Beta is an automatic conversion flow. Your browser sends one PDF to PDflow's hosted worker, which returns READY, REVIEW, or NO OUTPUT. No account or email address is required for this flow.
2. Online Beta Result Retention
Generated Excel results are temporary. The live service currently reports a 30-minute result window. After the first successful download, the job reports the temporary result as deleted and the same result is no longer available for download. The uploaded source PDF is deleted from the worker's temporary storage as soon as the conversion finishes or fails, and the Online Beta does not send your PDF to any third-party OCR or AI service. The Online Beta also shows, for each value in the result, which page and where on the page it came from. Those locations (the value text, page number and position) are kept in memory with the temporary Excel result and deleted with it. Your PDF itself is drawn in your own browser for this view; it is not uploaded again. Hosting and infrastructure providers may still process standard connection and operational metadata (see section 5).
3. Manual Sample Review
The separate sample form on the main website is a manual review flow. The contact email is used only to return the review result. The PDF and problem description are used only for PDflow testing and evaluation. Redacted samples are welcome, and the form requires you to confirm that sensitive information has been removed or anonymized before submission.
4. Manual Sample Storage
Manual samples are uploaded through the website's sample-submission infrastructure and forwarded to the PDflow research mailbox for review. We do not currently publish a fixed deletion period or promise complete deletion across every copy in this manual flow. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or otherwise sensitive documents.
5. Website Analytics and Infrastructure
The website may use privacy-focused analytics for aggregate page views and navigation patterns. The conversion service also keeps anonymous daily counts, such as how many files were uploaded, how each conversion ended and how many results were downloaded. These counts never include file names, file contents or visitor identifiers. The website is hosted by Vercel. The Online Beta conversion service runs on Railway, in its US East region (Virginia, USA), and uploaded PDFs are processed there. Hosting and infrastructure providers may also process standard connection and operational metadata needed to deliver the website and conversion service. These systems are separate from the manual review purpose described above.
6. Children
PDflow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Online Beta or manual sample-review flow.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date on this page.
